About Us

Exteriors of Brussels and Blyth United Churches

Thank you for checking us out!

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! We are two communities of faith who are called to worship God, love in Christ’s name, and serve where the Spirit calls us. We strive to be welcoming and hospitable communities, always eager to learn from God and one another.

We acknowledge that the land upon which our communities serve and worship is the traditional land of the Ojibwa Chippewa of the Anishinaabe Nations, on land covered by Treaty No. 29 (Huron Tract Purchase of 1827). We give thanks for the opportunity to live and serve on this land with various peoples. We acknowledge the relations gone awry, and continue to apologize and live out that apology in listening and in discerned action, both as a Church and as individuals.
