Joint Longest Night Space – December 21st, 2020

Recognizing that this is indeed a trying season for many in our congregations and our communities, the United Churches of Blyth, Brussels, Londesborough, and Knox (Auburn) are offering a joint space of reflection and peace for all those who need it. This will be a drop-by event; there will be more structured prayers and readings every half-hour, but mostly this is just a pastoral and meaningful space for those who need to sit with God in their grief, frustration, or loneliness. Susan McIlveen (minister at Londesborough and Knox) and Alex Jebson (minister at Blyth and Brussels) will be on hand to offer personal pastoral support to those who desire it.

Health and safety protocols will be in effect, including contact tracing, hand sanitizer, and masks (some masks will be available on site). We encourage you to come by, and/or pass this information along to those in your community who might benefit from a time and space dedicated to reflection and the hope and peace that can be known through God.
