While we are not yet having worship in our sanctuaries, we still have the opportunity to gather and prepare for this memorable Advent season. Both congregations will be having an outdoor decoration service, a time of prayer, Scripture, and hanging of the greens and décor outside of our church buildings.
Brussels United Church – Friday November 27th at 7 p.m. (by the front entrance and church sign).
Blyth United Church – Saturday November 28th at 7 p.m. (in the Friendship Garden)
(Sunday November 29th will be a potential rain/snow date should either evening be too poor weather-wise)
This will be a fairly short service (approx. 20-30 minutes). The service will be outside, so if you are planning on attending, please dress appropriately. Physical distancing, mask-wearing, and contact tracing are required. For those who are not able to or comfortable with attending, one of the services will be posted on our website and Youtube page later on in the weekend. Let us all prepare for this Advent season, embodying the hope God offers and our communities need this year.
