In the past, members from Brussels and Blyth United Churches have supported the Huron County Christmas Bureau with “white gifts”. However, this year, due to COVID 19 restrictions, the Christmas Bureau is accepting financial donations only, to be used for gift cards to help families in need buy toys and clothing gifts for their children.
Please make cheques payable to Family Assistance Fund. All donations of $10.00 or more are issued charitable tax receipts if your mailing address is included with the donation.
You may choose to make your donation in one of the following ways:
1. For Brussels Folks: Put cash or cheque made out to Family Assistance Fund (include your address) in an envelope and drop it off at Ralph Watson’s, Alex Jebson’s or Kathy Workman’s between Nov. 16 to 24. The cheques will be delivered to the Maitland River Community Church (the Wingham Children’s Bureau depot) on Nov. 25.
If you need your donation picked up please call Kathy Workman 887-6867.
For Blyth Folks: Put cash or cheque made out to Family Assistance Fund (include your address) in an envelope. Contact Emily Phillips or Alex Jebson to organize pick-up, or drop them off at the Blyth church.
