“Creation Trail” Youth Event – October 3rd

Our first Youth Ministry event this fall is going to be a “Creation Trail” nature hike. As the Season of Creation continues in the liturgical calendar, and hearing feedback from families, we thought that an outdoor session would be a great way to meet and re-acquaint. We are taking our inspiration from our Psalm reading this week, knowing that “the heavens are telling the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims God’s handiwork” (Psalm 19:1).

We are going to be learning together how Creation tells of God’s glory, and how we are interconnected with our local environment. This will also be an opportunity for families to get to meet our new minister, Alex, in an outdoor environment.

When: Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 – 2 p.m.

Where: Stevenson Tract – East Trail. Located on Morris Rd/Cty Rd 16, just east of Clyde Line. Meet in the small lot to the east/Brussels side of the bridge over the river.

What to bring: snacks if you would like them; weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. Masks when physical distancing is not possible (i.e. parking lot).

Please let us know if you are planning on attending, so we can have enough materials and so that we can make sure to stay under the 25 person limit for outdoor gatherings. Please email Alex at minister.brusselsandblythuc@gmail.com, or text/call Alex at 705-344-3385. And pass on the word to families you know who might be interested in this or other future youth ministry activities.

We look forward to seeing you there! Blessings!
