Brussels and Blyth United Churches are happy to announce two physically distant fellowship opportunities with a “Golden Oldies” hymn program!
Musicians from both congregations are putting together a program of their favourite old hymns that folks may have missed hearing these past few months. Both events will be held outdoors, with physical distancing and health guidelines being enforced. Mask-wearing will be recommended, especially if you are wanting to sing along, and required where distancing is not possible. You can also just sing along in your heart and enjoy the music God inspires!
At both events, donations of school supplies will be taken to help support our joint mission with True North Aid to provide supplies for northern Indigenous communities. More information on that outreach can be found here.
For more information about these hymn sings, please reach out to our new minister, Alex, at minister.brusselsandblythuc@gmail.com, or call/text 705-344-3385. Members from both congregations and both communities are invited and encouraged to come to either or both events. This is to be a time of music, fellowship, and mission. If you are feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms, we ask that you kindly hold off on attending, and to watch our services for more music ministry. We hope you will come and safely enjoy the hymns that have bolstered our faith for generations past and generations to come!
